The fans of TSV 1860 breathe a sigh of relief.

At the end of the change period, the Lions strengthened themselves with three new players for the relegation battle in the 3rd league.

Munich – The current winter transfer period has not been a pleasure for Lions fans so far.

While the third division competition strengthened early and in some cases significantly (Duisburg with ex-Bundesliga snapper Daniel Ginczek, Mannheim with veteran Terrence Boyd), so far nothing has happened at Sixty when it comes to new additions.

For everyone who supports the traditional club that is threatened with relegation, yesterday's Wednesday will probably have had a calming effect.

Because shortly before the end of the changeover period (this Thursday, 6 p.m.), Sixty's new sports director Christian Werner (42) became active after all.

And how!

In a three-pack, the Lions signed two offensive and one defensive players on Wednesday.

“Abdenego has extreme assertiveness, a great character and is an absolute asset to TSV 1860 Munich thanks to his polyvalence, his speed and his ability to get to the goal.”

Löwen sports director Christian Werner about Abdenego Nankishi,

The first offensive newcomer: The 21-year-old winger Abdenego Nankishi

is on loan from first division club Werder Bremen.

The former German U20 international made six appearances for Werder in the 2nd Bundesliga, including in the prestigious northern derby against Hamburger SV.

In August 2022 he moved to Heracles Almelo in the Dutch Keuken Kampioen Divisie on loan and was promoted to the Eredivisie as champions at the end of the season.

In the Dutch first division this season he scored three goals in ten games and prepared another.

“Abdenego has extreme assertiveness, a great character and is an absolute asset to TSV 1860 Munich thanks to his polyvalence, his speed and his ability to score,” said sports director Christian Werner.

28-year-old Max Reinthaler from SV Wehen Wiesbaden comes to the defense.

The South Tyrolean has the experience of 94 games in the 3rd league.

In 2009, he moved to the youth team at Udinese Calcio via Bozener FC and FC Südtirol.

The first stop in Germany was TSV Gersthofen, then the central defender went north to Rydaholms in Sweden and just a little later to FC Augsburg.

His route finally led via Rostock and Zwickau to the Hessian state capital.

Midfield talent Moritz Bangerter signs his first professional contract with TSV 1860 Munich

“With his experience, he will immediately help us, both on and off the pitch.

He also gives us more tactical options and makes it even more difficult for our competitors to figure out this part of the team,” says Werner about the 1.93 meter tall clearer.

With the new additions Nankishi and Reinthaler, who also took part in training yesterday, Sixty is reacting to the departures of right winger Tarsis Bonga (moved to Halle after his contract was terminated) and central defender Niklas Lang (loaned to SC Freiburg II).
