The World Swimming Championships will take place in Qatar from February 2nd to 18th.

Doha – World Cup medals are once again at stake in Qatar, just six months after the title fights in Fukuoka, Japan from February 2nd to 18th.
As a long-term consequence of the corona pandemic, the program is tightly scheduled; the World Cup originally planned for last year will now be held in Doha.
The Olympic Games in Paris this summer are already casting their shadows: many stars are foregoing the start in the desert.
However, the competitions are not entirely insignificant; in Qatar the team from the German Swimming Association (DSV) can secure further Olympic tickets.
Where will the 2024 Swimming World Cup be broadcast?

for the 2024 Swimming World Cup in Doha are held by

ZDF
.

ZDF are offering a

throughout the day
from February 2nd to 18th .
A
broadcast on free TV
is not planned.
However, individual races or summaries are shown in the sports show.
The online platform
Eurovision Sport
also broadcasts the competitions in a live stream.

What's on the program?
Titles are awarded in six sports.
In the first week, the open water double world champions Florian Wellbrock and Leonie Beck will defend their titles over 5 and 10 km in the Old Port of Doha.
The divers also fight for medals in the Hamad Aquatic Center, while the synchronized swimmers start their competitions in the Aspire Dome.
This is also about the Olympic tickets.
“The important thing is the quota places that we still achieve in diving.
That’s the focus,” said DSV sports director Christian Hansmann to the SID.
Wellbrock is also aiming for the Olympic qualification over 1500 and 800 m in the second week with a place in the top four, and the other pool swimmers like Isabel Gose also think they have one or two chances.
The DSV high diving team has three days of competition at the harbor.
The water polo teams of the German Swimming Association did not qualify.
