There are two versions of the separation between Beitar Jerusalem and its coach Yossi Abouxis. The first of them is the official version released by the club, the one that told about the coach's decision to resign immediately. On the other hand, there is also the version of Abouxis who said last night: "I agreed with Barak Abramov that a statement would be issued on mutual separation".
All this happened during Hapoel Tel Aviv's match against Hapoel Haifa, when Beitar's owner is convinced that the Reds are the coach's next stop. Abramov even confronted Aboksis with this question in a long conversation they had, but the coach claimed that this was not the case. "I did not agree In Hapoel Tel Aviv," Aboxis clarified last night, who claimed that an attempt was made by Abramov to extract incorrect information from him about the next stop in his career.
Despite the conflicting versions, the bottom line is that Abaxis is no longer coaching Beitar Jerusalem and the training today (Thursday) is expected to be conducted by his assistant Gal Cohen. Unless something unexpected happens, Cohen will manage the derby on Sunday against Hapoel Jerusalem.

The hustle and bustle in Beitar directly reflects the restlessness that also exists in Hapoel Tel Aviv. Salim, the temporary coach of the Reds, was confused by the messages he received about the apparently expected arrival of Abuxis, and did not know what he was supposed to say on the matter. They could not tell him if the news was correct and explained that the ball regarding the appointment of the next coach was in the hands of the Mintzberg team.
Now that Aboxis is free, the Reds may turn to him to coach the team.
If there is such an appeal, Aboxis does not reject it outright, but quite the opposite.
In that case, there will be a meeting where the parties will try to agree on one of the craziest moves in Israeli football in recent years.
The story of Aboxis leaving the Jerusalem club revolves around some of the Beitar fans who cursed him during the 2:2 draw against Hapoel Pet.
However, a large part of Beitar's fans actually organized themselves to cheer on Abouxis during the derby in the eighth minute, remembering the number 8 shirt he wore as a player, but that will no longer happen. Back at the Khodorov complex, the club will have to bridge the sediments of the past.

During the day, the management of Hapoel Tel Aviv will discuss the appointment of the next coach, when there is no consensus around one candidate or another.
Although Aboxis is now on the shelf, until yesterday morning, the professional director Chen Sol held talks behind the scenes with other coaches, Israeli and foreign.
Coach Ofir Haim preferred to stay with the youth teams, while Marko Belval made a series of demands to strengthen the squad.
