about his long and rich career.
With his usual frankness, the native of Le Havre returned, among other things, to his childhood in a sensitive neighborhood, his stints with the Girondins de Bordeaux, in England, at Real Madrid, his only selection for the French team but also the criticisms or the evolution of football.

Julien Faubert grew up in Le Havre (Normandy), in a single-parent family.
Raised by his mother who “
worked from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. to provide for the family's needs
”, the former midfielder experienced the Caucriauville district, where many sensitive areas are located.
To get out of it, few options were available to him.
