FC Bayern is only in second place in the Bundesliga and Thomas Tuchel is receiving criticism from Didi Hamann.
However, Michael Reschke sees this differently.
Munich – The feud between Thomas Tuchel and TV expert Dietmar Hamann was already heating up before the winter break.
In the past few weeks things had become quiet around the FC Bayern coach and one of his biggest critics.
But at the weekend, Hamann added fuel to the fire again and described Tuchel as “the biggest misunderstanding since Jürgen Klinsmann”.
However, Michael Reschke sees this differently.

Michael Reschke, former FC Bayern squad planner, particularly did not like the renewed criticism from Dietmar Hamann.

“Didi Hamann’s reaction is very populist,” Reschke said clearly in

’s Bundesliga web show and added: “Sometimes he comes out with things that are supposed to make sure that people talk about it, that a little bit of spice comes into play.
I don't think he meant it that way." From Reschke's point of view, Tuchel's signing at FC Bayern is "certainly not a misunderstanding."
Reschke sees Leverkusen as a reason for criticism of FC Bayern
After 19 matchdays, FC Bayern is two points behind Bayer Leverkusen in second place in the Bundesliga.
With 44 points from the first half of the season, FC Bayern is having its best first half of the season since Pep Guardiola's departure and is only second because Leverkusen is doing even better with 45 points.
“If Leverkusen were to play a normal season, Bayern would still be first with the current score,” noted Reschke, referring to the Werkself’s current performance.
However, Reschke also sees room for improvement at FC Bayern this season.
According to him, the record champions have “stomach pains because their performance is already very fluctuating.”
He pointed out some performances this season that were “not Bayern-like”.
This could mean, among other things, the embarrassing cup exit at third division team Saarbrücken or the 0-1 defeat on matchday 18 against Werder Bremen.

Hamann rows back after Tuchel criticism
But just a short time later, Hamann backtracked on his statement about Tuchel.
He
found out about the Bayern coach's statements in the mask before the
Sky90 broadcast.
“In connection with the announcement of Xavi’s resignation from FC Barcelona and the current situation at FC Bayern, I found the statement inappropriate,” explained Hamann.
The 50-year-old also admits a mistake on his part.
“Later in the emotional discussion I referred to it and did not reproduce Thomas Tuchel’s statement correctly or misinterpreted it.
He didn't say that he would like to train in Barcelona or Spain.
I would like to apologize to Thomas Tuchel and Bayern for this,” said Hamann.
