FC Bayern has been without the injured Serge Gnabry for weeks.
Now the people of Munich shared good news that gives hope for a speedy return.
Munich – It was the low point for a messed up season so far from Serge Gnabry’s point of view.
In FC Bayern's 5-1 defeat in Frankfurt (December 9th), the offensive player sat down on the ground after a challenge in the 68th minute, grabbed his left thigh and had to be treated.
Particularly bitter: Gnabry had just been substituted on in the 66th minute, and just five minutes later he had to go off again.
Bayern star Gnabry with a muscle tendon injury in the left adductor area
The next morning, FC Bayern announced the diagnosis: Serge Gnabry, who was injured in Frankfurt, suffered a muscle tendon injury in the left adductor area and has been out ever since.
For the national player, this is the second injury of the current season after breaking his forearm.
The 28-year-old is not getting going at all this season and, due to injuries, only managed 451 minutes of playing time spread across eleven competitive games and scored a single goal.
In the previous season he contributed 14 goals and seven assists to Munich's championship title in the Bundesliga.
Two and a half weeks ago (January 15th) Gnabry started running training again, and now there is positive news again.

Gnabry comeback sooner than expected?
As soon as Gnabry can get back into team training, a return to the squad should only be a matter of time.
Incidentally, Thomas Tuchel was missing from Bayern training this week, the coach is suffering from a flu-like infection.
A comeback against Mönchengladbach on Saturday definitely comes too early for Gnabry, but perhaps it will be enough for the top game against league leaders Leverkusen a week later.
With the early transfer of dribbling artist Bryan Zaragoza, Bayern now have more options anyway - and Gnabry has one more competitor.
