After months without playing, Hugo Ekitike officially left Paris and signed up for Germany.
The 21-year-old striker joined Frankfurt on Thursday evening, on the last day of the transfer window.
The former Stade de Reims player, whom the leaders of Eintracht had already tried to attract this summer, committed himself in the form of a loan with a compulsory purchase option of 30 million euros.
He posted a photo with his new jersey on Instagram, to which Kylian Mbappé responded.
“It’s your moment,” commented the captain of the France team.
Hugo Ekitike was in great sporting difficulty this year, and in lack of playing time. Arriving last season from Reims, where he had revealed himself, he was not convinced either on his debut, with four goals scored in 32 matches.

Bought for an amount estimated at 35 million euros by Paris Saint-Germain, the failure was resounding.
The capital club had been looking for a way out for several months.
The 21-year-old will have the opportunity to relaunch himself in the Bundesliga, a championship in which many French people have flourished.
