A big move at the last minute:
Israeli striker Shawn Weissman was loaned today (Thursday) from Spanish Granada Salernitana from Serie A, the top Italian league.
Weissman hardly played in the Spanish second division last season, and the deal to transfer him to Italy was completed in the very last moments of the transfer window.
He will join the team from the last place in Italy and try to help them in the struggle for survival in the league.
The senior journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, who first reported on the deal, announced the official signing in real time on local television and announced: "It's closed," with fireworks in the background.

In the middle of October, Shawn Weissman's team, Granada, went to an away match against Osasuna, whose fans made it clear in advance that they were not ready for the Israeli striker to come to the field.
Following Weissman's harsh statements against Hamas and Gaza, they threatened that if he did show up, they would give him a terrifying reception.
Weissmann stayed home, but that didn't stop the Osasuna fans.
What happened in that game in the stands was extremely ugly.
Osasuna's audience chanted: "Sean Weissman is dead", waved Palestinian flags, sympathized with the October 7 massacre and added more harsh chants such as "destroy Zionism".
Even before the game, the same fans published a picture of Weissman wearing a Star of David symbol inside a swastika on his shirt.
