.: Eintracht Frankfurt secured the services of dream striker Hugo Ekitike on deadline day after long negotiations.
The 21-year-old Frenchman comes to the Main on loan from French champions Paris Saint-Germain and signs until the end of the season.
Eintracht then has a purchase option, which, according to media reports, should be around 30 million euros.

.: Bundesliga bottom team Darmstadt 98 have strengthened themselves at the last minute with Sebastian Polter from FC Schalke 04.
As the Lilies announced, the 32-year-old striker will be loaned out until the end of the season.
For Polter, this is already his ninth stop as a professional.
For the Lilies, this is the third new signing of the current winter after Julian Justvan, who was on loan from Hoffenheim, and former Bochum player Gerrit Holtmann, who has Bundesliga experience.
“I will do everything I can to help the team and bring in my experience in the fight to stay in the league,” Polter is quoted as saying in a statement from the club.
Transfer ticker on deadline day: FC Bayern signs Bryan Zaragoza

The next entry for FC Bayern is dry: Bryan Zaragoza is officially a Bayern player.
The Spaniard signed a contract until 2029 on Thursday.
According to Sky, the total package for the 22-year-old should ultimately amount to a maximum of 20 million euros.

“Such an agreement involves three parties, and we are pleased that Bryan Zaragoza is joining us earlier than originally agreed.

According to
L'Equipe
, there was a breakthrough in the negotiations between Eintracht Frankfurt and PSG regarding a transfer of Hugo Ekitike.
The two clubs should therefore fundamentally agree on the transfer modalities.
Only details still need to be clarified.
According to the report, the 21-year-old Frenchman is already on his way to Frankfurt and will initially be loaned out - but the SGE is said to have a purchase option.
The overall package (loan fee, purchase option and possible bonus payments) is said to amount to around 30 million euros.

Jérôme Boateng was without a club for around six months, and now he is said to have finally found a new club.
According to
Gazetta dello Sport,
the former world champion is close to signing with Italian first division club US Salernitana.
The 35-year-old has already completed his medical check.
As the newspaper further reports, ex-Bayern colleague Franck Ribéry was also involved in the negotiations.
Boateng is set to receive a contract with Salernitana until the end of the season.
A signature is expected on Friday.
Since the defender has been without a club for the last few months, he can still be signed by a club after the transfer deadline.

The list of departures at BVB is getting longer and longer.
Already at lunchtime (see update 11.45 a.m.) it was said that BVB was letting defensive talent Hendry Blank move to FC Red Bull Salzburg.
Now the next youngster seems to be on the move.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Ajax Amsterdam and Dortmund have reached an agreement regarding Julian Rijkhoff.
The 19-year-old striker is said to have already arrived in Amsterdam for a medical check and will bring around 2.5 million euros into Dortmund's coffers.
Deadline day: Union finds replacement for Behrens

As is well known, a position in the offensive line has become available at Union Berlin following Kevin Behrens' move to VfL Wolfsburg.
Now the “Iron” have found what they are looking for at PSV Eindhoven and have signed Yorbe Vertessen.
The attacker is moving to the German capital club for five million euros - Eindhoven is said to have secured a resale fee in the deal.
“With Yorbe Vertessen we are getting a player who enjoyed an excellent education in Eindhoven.

According to Sky information, the German record champions have officially signed the Swedish striker talent Jonah Kusi-Asare.
The 16-year-old comes from Swedish first division club AIK Solna for around 4.5 million euros - but according to Sky there could be further bonus payments.
Kusi-Asare is initially intended for Bayern's U19 team.

Transfer coup for Stuttgart: According to Sky, Mahmoud Dahoud is moving from Brighton Hove & Albion to VfB.
Initially, the ex-BVB star is coming on loan - although the Stuttgart team is said to have a purchase option worth nine million euros.

Ex-Stuttgart Orel Mangala is reportedly about to move from Nottingham Forest to Olympique Lyon.
The Premier League club recently strengthened itself with BVB star Giovanni Reyna, who is on loan until next summer.
If Mangala's move actually goes through, it would be the first big deal on this deadline day: Lyon would have to put around 35 million euros on the table for the midfielder.
However, the transfer is not yet complete.

The Mainz team dominates the headlines on the morning of Deadline Day.
After the permanent signing of Nadiem Amiri from Leverkusen, Jessic Ngankam is the next reinforcement coming to Mainz.
The 23-year-old is moving from Eintracht Frankfurt to FSV on loan - there should be no purchase option in the deal.
Mainz are currently in the middle of a relegation battle and are in second-to-last place in the table with just eleven points.

Bundesliga club Mainz 05 has signed Nadiem Amiri from leaders Bayer Leverkusen in the relegation battle.
The Rhinelanders announced this late on Wednesday evening.
The attacking midfielder brings the enormous experience of 225 Bundesliga games to Bruchweg, but was sidelined at Bayer in the current season and only appeared in 81 minutes in the Bundesliga.
The five-time German national player signed a contract with Mainz until the end of June 2026. Both parties agreed not to disclose the transfer terms, but according to media reports the transfer fee is around 1.5 million euros.

Wolfsburg brings in national striker: Behrens comes from league rivals
Update from January 31st, 8:55 p.m
.: As expected, VfL Wolfsburg has signed Kevin Behrens from league rivals Union Berlin.
The Wolves announced this on Wednesday evening.
The club did not specify a contract term; according to media reports, Behren's contract will run until summer 2026.
The transfer fee should be 3.5 million euros.
“Kevin comes from current game operations, he knows the league and will therefore only need a short period of getting used to it,” VfL sports director Sebastian Schindzielorz is quoted in the statement: “He has proven his qualities on the pitch again and again in recent years placed."
Transfer ticker on deadline day: Dahoud before Bundesliga return
Update from January 31st, 6:43 p.m.:
Mahmoud Dahoud is apparently returning to the Bundesliga.
VfB Stuttgart apparently wants to sign the two-time national player on loan with a subsequent purchase option from Brighton & Hove Albion.
Pictures from the television channel
Sky
showed Dahoud arriving at Stuttgart Airport on Wednesday afternoon.
Before his time with the English first division club, the 28-year-old midfielder had already played in 226 games for Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga.
Dahoud appeared in 14 competitive games for Brighton this season.
The medical check in Stuttgart is still pending.

Transfer ticker on deadline day: Behrens shortly before moving to VfL Wolfsburg
VfL Wolfsburg apparently secures the services of striker Kevin Behrens.
According to information from
Sky
, the 32-year-old will move from Union Berlin to Autostadt and complete the medical check with the Wolves on Wednesday.
A low single-digit million sum is being discussed as a transfer fee.
The contract should be valid until 2026.
After a strong start to the season for the Köpenickers with four goals in the first two league games, Behrens even made his debut for the German national team in October against Mexico.
Since then, however, there have been no further goals.
At VfL, Behrens is intended as an alternative for top striker Jonas Wind.
