It is doubtful that Charon Sherry could have imagined a more dreamy opening to his tenure in Dutch Nijmegen.
After scoring the team's first goal in his debut, the midfielder who belongs to Maccabi Haifa and was loaned for half of the upcoming season, also scored tonight (Saturday) in only his second game in the Nijmegen uniform.
Sherry's team hosted Heracles as part of the 20th round in the Dutch league, and 3 minutes later already fell into a deficit that was maintained until halftime.
The midfielder who started in the lineup took part in the comeback that started in the 50th minute with Koki Ogawa's equalizer from the penalty spot, when the striker completed a brace in the 59th minute and Sherry's goal came in the 66th minute.

The midfielder was allowed to kick Nijmegen's free ball on the edge of the guest's area, and with the slight misdirection his kick received from touching the Rakles player, Nijmegen went up 1:3 in the 66th minute and came close to getting Sherry's first 3 points since joining the Dutch team.
