Eintracht Frankfurt meets 1. FC Cologne in the Bundesliga.
Will new signing Hugo Ekitiké already be in the squad against the Rhinelanders?
Frankfurt – After long and apparently not always easy negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain, Eintracht Frankfurt was able to introduce Hugo Ekitiké on Deadline Day.
The Frenchman is head coach Dino Toppmöller's dream player and should help the SGE qualify for European competition again in the second half of the season.

“We are very happy with the transfer window and are pleased that it worked with Hugo Ekitiké after we were already interested in him in the summer,” said Toppmöller at the press conference before the game at 1. FC Köln, delighted with the work of Sports director Markus Krösche, who has significantly strengthened the squad.
The SGE coach is enthusiastic about the new signing from France: “He is a player who prefers to play in the number nine position, but can also play in a double leadership role.
Thanks to his high speed, he can also move to the wing.
For his size, he has good technique, is agile and provides good pressing moments, which make it difficult for the opponent to build up the game.
He is hard-working, hungry and should help us in the short and long term.”

Dino Toppmöller is not yet sure whether the new signing will be in the squad against 1. FC Köln.
A decision should be made shortly.
“We have to see how he presents himself on the training pitch so that we can get him into good shape as quickly as possible and he can help us.
I will have a conversation with him and then see how we put together the matchday squad,” explained the 43-year-old.
Ekitiké could already be in the Eintracht squad in Cologne
A duo is definitely not an option for the next Bundesliga game: “Willian Pacho is suspended due to his fifth yellow card.
Omar Marmoush is still in Egypt.
He caught a cold with a fever.”

Toppmöller expects a difficult task in Cologne and will not be deceived by the Rhinelander's position in the table.
“They are hard-working, courageous in attacking pressing and have good processes.
They also bring power and speed as well as a good idea with the ball.
They need every point and will defend themselves with all means possible,” said the SGE coach at the matchday PK.
