Thomas Müller only sits on the bench at FC Bayern.
Coach Thomas Tuchel prefers other professionals.
Most recently, the FCB icon was even bypassed.
Munich – Thomas Müller has to come to terms with the reserve role again at FC Bayern.
Coach Thomas Tuchel put the veteran on the bench in the last few games.
Last weekend in Augsburg, Müller even experienced a very bitter moment.
Müller's hopes under Tuchel are dashed
Müller seemed to be in demand again under Tuchel around the turn of the year.
The 34-year-old was in the starting line-up three times and Bayern celebrated three wins.
Against Wolfsburg, Müller experienced something like his third spring and even provided two assists.
“It felt good to play the last two matches from the start and to have actively contributed to the victories.
I would like to build on that,” said Müller, who was also allowed to start against Hoffenheim in the new year.
But that was to change fundamentally afterwards - despite the Munich team's staff shortage.

Maximum penalty for Thomas Müller: Bayern icon has to give way to 18-year-old
In the 0-1 draw against Bremen and the 1-0 draw in the catch-up game against Union Berlin, Müller suddenly found himself on the bench.
The reason: Kingsley Coman was fit again for the starting eleven after his torn muscle fiber and displaced the original Bavarian.
So far so good.
In the next game, 3-2 in Augsburg, Müller received the next blow in the neck from Tuchel.
Although Kingsley Coman seriously injured his knee and was substituted early, Müller had to wait until the 89th minute to play.
Instead, the 18-year-old storm talent Mathys Tel was preferred and came on as a substitute for Coman.
Müller therefore had to be patient until almost the final minute - which is probably the maximum penalty.
Not on the same wavelength: Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel and Thomas Müller.

Ice-cold Tuchel announcement gives a deep insight: Müller is just a benchwarmer at FC Bayern
Although Müller was only substituted on very late in Dortmund, the competitive situation was different back then.
Serge Gnabry is currently out injured, but is already training with the ball again.
Tuchel simply explained the leading player's banishment to the bench: “Thomas is not a trained right-back or a central defender.
We play up front with Kingsley (Coman), Jamal (Musiala), Harry (Kane) and Leroy (Sané).
We have Mathys (Tel), Choupo (Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting) and Thomas on the bench.” Tuchel’s answer refers to the many failures in Munich’s defense.
In any case, the ice-cold statement without any justification for Müller's disregard gives a deep insight.

currently speculating that Tuchel doesn't have a good relationship with three of his leading players.
In addition to Müller, these are said to be Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, who had a tantrum during Bayern training.
In any case, despite his role as a reservist, Müller holds no grudges.
“I always prepare for playing time, the coach decides how much it will be in the end.
We're a small group anyway, so we have to stick together," the 34-year-old explained diplomatically and put the team spirit in the foreground: "We won 3-2, we're happy that we're back at the top of the table with just two points it's your turn and that's all that matters at the moment.
It is important that we get points and that we put Leverkusen under pressure in order to survive in this phase of the season when we have a lot of injuries.”
Müller's chances are dwindling: FC Bayern shortly before the Zaragoza transfer
Due to Coman's failure, Müller can hope to return to the starting eleven against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday (3:30 p.m.).
However, Bayern are likely to bring in a new competitor in Bryan Zaragoza.
