Will Teddy Riner add an eighth Paris Grand Slam to his list of achievements?
This Sunday, the Frenchman will play his first tournament of the year at the Accor Arena in Paris (12th arrondissement), and will aim for the title, as usual.
Already victorious in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2023, the heavyweight will once again be one of the big favorites.
He will be accompanied by three other Tricolores in the +100 kg category: Tieman Diaby, Joseph Terhec and Amadou Meïté.
Also on Sunday, spectators and viewers will have the opportunity to witness the exploits of Romane Dicko, Léa Fontaine, Coralie Hayme and Anne Fatoumata M'Bairo in the +78 kg category.
Audrey Tcheuméo will also aim for the gold medal in -78 kg, just like Madeleine Malonga.
On Saturday, it is Clarisse Agbégnénou who will try to make the colors of the France team shine.
The five-time winner of this Parisian event is also the big favorite of this tournament.
His teammate Alpha Djalo, also already qualified for the Paris Olympic Games, will try to shine in the -81 kg category.
The final phases will be broadcast on La Chaîne L'Équipe.
It will be from 4:10 p.m. Saturday, and 5 p.m. Sunday.
