Maccabi Tel Aviv and the Slovakian Žilina have come to an understanding on the transfer of the Ghanaian midfielder/striker, 20-year-old Henry Addo for approximately 700 thousand euros. This is a young player who grew up in Žilina's branch in Ghana and later moved to the youth team of the club and continued to the seniors , where he scored five goals this season.
Edo is expected to be the last acquisition of Maccabi Tel Aviv in the current window, when so far the team has signed Raz Shlomo, Matan Balatxa, Younes Malada, Aden Kartsev and Elad Madamon (will join next season). For Edo, this is a signing with a future vision. This is a player Ben 20 who will be on the sixth foreign standard and in the future is expected to become a more significant player.

According to the agreement with the Slovaks, Edo's successes with Maccabi Tel Aviv will result in the Yellows transferring bonuses, so the amount of the transfer may increase. In light of the agreement, the player will arrive in Israel and sign a long-term contract with Kiryat Shalom, even before the window closes.
