Thomas Tuchel was slowed down with a flu-like infection during the week.
The 50-year-old was there on match day – albeit with security precautions.

Tuchel was missing from Bayern training - on Wednesday and Thursday, and the coach returned for the final training on Friday.
Sports director Christoph Freund represented the Swabian at the matchday press conference and was able to give the all-clear.
Tuchel is “on the mend” and will lead training on Friday, said Freund.
“In all likelihood” he will also be on the sidelines for the game against Gladbach.

However, Tuchel was wearing a mask when he arrived at the Allianz Arena, as could be seen in the TV picture on Sky.

information, the trainer wore mouth and nose protection in closed rooms as a precaution.
A little later, Tuchel explained his state of health on the Sky microphone: “Everything is good.
Meetings yesterday and today with a mask.
Normally I shouldn't be contagious anymore.” But they don't want to take any risks - probably to protect the team from illness.
Tuchel caught the flu-like infection on Säbener Straße: “There was a virus going around in the trainer’s office.”

In the packed Allianz Arena, “no one can hear me anyway,” said Tuchel with a smile.
In addition to the coach, Sacha Boey and Bryan Zaragoza also took a seat on the bench; Tuchel did not include his two new million-dollar signings in his line-up.
