New winter signing Eric Dier is already feeling really comfortable at FC Bayern.
This already pays off on the pitch.
Munich – Eric Dier (30) had to smile himself.
The new signing from Tottenham Hotspur ironically commented on Instagram last month with “Really boring couple of weeks” and uploaded several photos of himself and his family.

The Englishman is known for his dry humor; after all, his first month in Munich was anything but boring.
Since his loan move to FC Bayern, the central defender has experienced turbulent weeks; just one day after his departure from London, Dier sat down as a spectator in the stands at the Allianz Arena for the first time.
The next day he was officially introduced, and less than 24 hours later the new addition was on the plane to the short training camp in Faro (Portugal).
And as if all that wasn't enough, Dier was also busy off the pitch.
After just two days he left this training camp so that he could be present at the birth of his first child.
Shortly afterwards, the dad celebrated his 30th birthday with his wife Anna, a South African model - Dier's mega month was something special!

Error-free and reliable: Dier impressed against Gladbach
But the defender has also attracted attention in terms of sport.
In his first two starting eleven appearances in Augsburg (3:2) and against Gladbach (3:1), Dier did his job properly.
Especially in the home win against Borussia on Saturday, he impressed with a strong performance, repeatedly directing those in front of him and showing himself to be robust in duels.
Although Dier didn't play any outstanding passes, he did his job flawlessly and reliably - exactly as you would expect from a central defender in two wins.
The message: Dier wants to move forward - and position himself for the competition in defense.
Finally, Dayot Upamecano (25/recovering a torn muscle fiber in the left rear thigh) and Minjae Kim (27/return from the Asia Cup), two central defenders, are returning to Säbener Straße.
However, new signing Dier doesn't care: "I always want to play, no matter where I am," said the Englishman after the game on Saturday.
“When I came here I was ready to play and I had the chance to do so in the last two games.”

The fact that Dier has already fitted in so well at FC Bayern is due, in addition to all the factors on and off the pitch, to his friend Harry Kane (30)!
Both played together for Tottenham for nine years and have been inseparable since Dier's move to FCB in January.
“Harry helped me a lot with the integration, that makes everything easier for me,” revealed the newcomer about his buddy.
In order for the two Brits to continue to form an axis on the pitch in the future, Dier will have to prove himself in the next few weeks.
His playing time is likely to decrease once Kim, de Ligt and Upamecano are all fit and back.
But even if the new signing were to fall back into a joker role, it wouldn't be a big loss, at least for the Bayern bosses.
The record champions did not pay a cent in loan fees to Tottenham.
If the contract is then extended via an option until 2025, an additional transfer fee of just five million euros would be due.
