Rubinstein, whose family immigrated from Ukraine to the United States, is known as one of the main donors of the Holocaust Museum in Washington and previously donated over 15 million dollars to the museum.
At the age of 74, he decided that he was going to put his beloved baseball team at the center of his life, and among other things, to enlarge the team's legendary stadium and change the entire area around it, "with the aim of creating new memories for our fans".
