Are – Ski racer Maria Pietilä Holmner, who ended her active career in 2018, lives with her husband Hans Olsson in Are, Sweden, and enjoys nature there.

The Swede shared a photo on her Instagram account in which she can be seen with her daughter in a stroller - in the middle of a hurricane.

“Hold on to your hats, Ingunn offers action,” she wrote underneath.

The photographer was husband Hans Olsson, who immediately commented on the post: “Behind every extraordinary winter picture in nature there is the father of a small child freezing his hands off.

Do not forget that."

Ingunn, as the hurricane was named, swept across Scandinavia in the past few days.

With strong gusts, it covered roofs and tore down power lines as it moved north.

Air and ferry traffic was suspended.

On the Norwegian island of Soemma, the meteorological institute recorded a record wind speed of 195.8 kilometers per hour.

However, the hurricane was not as strong in Sweden as in Norway, so Maria Pietilä Holmner and her family's winter walk was not a problem.

In 2011 she won her second individual medal with bronze at the World Championship Slalom in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

She also won medals with the team four times at world championships.
