According to information from the local newspaper Le Progrès, a Marseille fan was attacked on Sunday shortly before midnight in the Part-Dieu area by OL supporters.
The victim, aged 30 and wearing an OM jersey hidden under his jacket, allegedly shouted
“Go OM”
in a tram train crowded with supporters returning from the match.
At the “Villette”
stop
, around ten Lyon supporters chased the individual and attacked him near rue Paul-Bert.
Police officers, present at the tram stop, pursued the alleged perpetrators and arrested one of them.
The victim, whose shoulder was dislocated, was hospitalized, while the arrested Lyon supporter, aged 27, is in police custody.
