Arrival of the quinté:
5 - 1 - 10 - 7/13
Amedras (No. 1)
could have had the perfect race.
Starting in the lead from the first meters of the Prix de Grasse, contested this Monday at the Cagnes-sur-Mer racecourse, the 7-year-old gelding occupied first place in the peloton until 50 m from the finish, before 'be taken up by
Khamma (n°5)
.
The 5-year-old mare, ridden by Théo Bachelot and trained by Manon Scandella-Lacaille, perfectly placed at the start of the final straight, concluded the race in the best possible way and won by a few centimeters.
A nice surprise since it was listed at 21/1.
“It’s a surprise to win this quinté,” said Théo Bachelot at Equidia’s microphone after his victory.
The other day, we were a little unsatisfied.
She had a fairly decent comeback race at Chantilly but the other time, she didn't respond.
She is a mare who has had some downtime.
She set the record straight today, I'm happy.

which was declared third.
Sassica (n°13)
and
Etatique (n°7)
, tied for fourth place, complete the good combination of the day.
