Accidents are an inseparable part of every sport, but the tragic coincidence that happened two days ago (Sunday) caused complete astonishment among horse racing fans, when two riders died a few hours apart after a fatal accident on the track.
The first to be reported was the experienced rider, Dominik Pastsuka of Poland, who was initially determined by the medical team to have been seriously injured as a result of a fall from his horse "War Hero" (he was also killed).
After he was taken to the hospital unconscious, the doctors had to announce his death at the age of 35, after the competition held in the city of Pisa.
A few hours later, it was Keegan Kirkby, only 25 years old, who was thrown by his horse ("Afdil") towards the track after colliding with a fence, hit his head and shortly after his death was determined in a competition held in the city of Kent in England.
The local police started an investigation.
