Summary: Hapoel Tel Aviv - MS.
Ashdod 1:3/Sport1
Coming full circle: Yossi Aboksis was appointed coach of Hapoel Tel Aviv today (Tuesday), the team he grew up in.
After the explosion with Barak Abramov at Beitar Jerusalem and the dramatic departure, Abouxis moves to its great rival and he signed for a season and a half.
This is actually Abouxis' second term as head coach at Hapoel Tel Aviv, after standing on the sidelines for several months in the 2012/13 season. For the first time, the connection did not worked, but now he's coming back much more experienced and his goal will be first of all to stay away from the bottom and then also try to reach the top playoffs.
Aboksis said after the signing: "I'm happy to return to a club that is very dear to my heart, Hapoel has always been a part of my life and I experienced wonderful moments in my career with the team.
I want to thank Betar Jerusalem for the time at the club, but in the situation that arose, I made a decision to move on to the next chapter in my career. Chen called me on Sunday and we arranged to meet, I was very impressed by the new way in the club and the desire to return Hapoel Tel Aviv to its rightful place, the pursuit of achievement, the investment and the attitude The professional. This is a club where I grew up - and of course a club like Hapoel Tel Aviv doesn't refuse. I believe in my way and together with the team, the players and the management, I'm sure that beautiful things can be achieved."
Coming home.
