A fight broke out after the Bundesliga game between 1. FC Köln and Eintracht Frankfurt.

The police report that around 100 people were involved.

Cologne – In terms of sport, it was a used Saturday evening for Frankfurt Eintracht: the relegation candidate from Cologne suffered a 2-0 defeat and received two yellow-red cards.

Passers-by called the emergency number around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday evening and reported to the authorities of a fight involving up to 100 people.

When the first officers arrived on site, the suspected criminals ran away in all directions.

The police were able to establish the identities of more than 30 people and they were subsequently released.

The Cologne police have started investigations into breach of the peace and dangerous bodily harm.
