Sports Minister Miki Zohar reached an agreement with the Home Front Command that from now on, 30,000 spectators will be allowed to enter the football Premier League games.
Yesterday evening, a situation assessment was conducted regarding the season's game between Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv, but the confirmation was not given.
Now, after further talks between Miki Zohar and the Home Front Command, the approval has been given.
30,000 fans will be allowed to enter in the next round.
This means that in the match between Beitar Jerusalem and Maccabi Haifa at the Teddy Stadium, more than 30,000 spectators will be able to attend.
As far as Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv are concerned, this is great news, as both are considered to be the teams with the most subscribers in the Premier League.
Each of them has about 22 thousand subscribers, while so far only 15 thousand viewers have been allowed to enter.
This meant that almost 7,000 fans who had a subscription could not enter the games.
Now, this issue has been resolved and ticket sales for the games will also resume.

In a conversation between Miki Zohar and the Home Front Command, the Minister explained that there is no difference between games in Toto Turner or Netanya with 15,000 spectators at full occupancy and full stadiums with a larger population.
In recent weeks this claim was rejected outright, but today it was accepted.
