Israel's artistic swimming team finished seventh today (Tuesday) in the team technical exercise final at the world championships held in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
The team, which wants to qualify for the Olympic Games for the first time in history, came up with an exercise called "The Birds", with which it also participated in last year's championship in Japan and managed to achieve a result of 237.6533 points, 10 more than what it achieved in the qualifiers.
As a reminder, yesterday the team finished in ninth place in the final of the acrobatic exercise, and at the end of the championship, the total score in each of the three exercises (acrobatic, technical and free), gives the first five teams the ticket to the Olympic Games in Paris, where the teams of China, Mexico, Australia, Egypt and the host France are already there .
The team's staff includes Shelly Bobritsky, Ariel Nashi, Kathy Kunin, Aden Belcher, Noy Gazela, Nicole Nakhshonov, Maya Dorf, Neta Robitzak and Aya Mazor.
The coaches are Savta Belcher, Larissa Kunin, Valeria Afrialeva, and the head of the delegation is Noa Kadosh.

The Chinese team won the gold medal with 299.8712, followed immediately by Spain with a score of 275.8925 points and Japan in third with 275.8787 points.
