René Marić has only recently been employed at FC Bayern.
Now the 31-year-old is taking over the U19 team of the German record champions.
Munich – René Marić was actually planned for the position of team leader of coaching development and playing philosophy at FC Bayern.
But just three months after taking office in Munich, his job profile has expanded.
From now on he is the main person responsible for Bayern's U19s and is supposed to get them back on track.

Marić becomes FC Bayern's U19 coach
After 15 match days in the U19 Bundesliga South, FC Bayern is in seventh place with just 22 points.
The first two games of the new year were clearly lost against VfB Stuttgart (0:3) and FC Augsburg (1:4).
As a result, after an analysis on Monday, the Munich team released U19 coach Michael Hartmann.
He is followed by René Marić, who only joined FC Bayern in November and will be in the dugout on Wednesday in the UEFA Youth League against FC Basel.
The 31-year-old was installed as team leader for coaching development and playing philosophy in late autumn and has been part of the FC Bayern Campus team ever since.

Marić will remain at FC Bayern in his old role
Marić will have a busy time in the next few weeks.
Christoph Freund, who already knows the new U19 coach from his Salzburg days, explained that Marić will take on the role of U19 coach in addition to his current position.
“René Marić has done a great job so far in our academy as team leader for coaching development and playing philosophy.
We are very happy that he has now agreed at short notice to also take over the U19 team,” he said.
Marić himself was somewhat surprised that he had been asked for the new task.
“I was surprised by this development today, but I’m really looking forward to working with the team and this exciting task.
“I will do everything I can to support the boys together with my coaching team and achieve the club’s goals,” the former Borussia Dortmund assistant coach is quoted as saying on the FC Bayern website.

Despite his young age, Marić has a lot of experience
Although Marić is only 31 years old, he already has a lot of experience.
At the age of 24, he became assistant coach to Marco Rose at RB Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga.
After moving to Borussia Mönchengladbach in the summer of 2019, Rose took his assistant with him to Germany.
Two years later, Marić Rose also followed Borussia Dortmund, where they stayed for a year.
After his dismissal at the end of the season, he moved on to Leeds United, where he was able to gain experience as an assistant coach in the Premier League alongside Jesse March.
