Even at a young age, Laura Dahlmeier probably had a lot of temperament.
An anecdote from Magdalena Neuner provides proof of this.
Munich – Laura Dahlmeier is constantly on the go – that hasn’t changed in her 30th year.
Although she has long since retired from biathlon, the current mountain guide and runner certainly has no shortage of activities.
The Olympic champion has always been hard to stop.
Biathlon reporter Christian Dexne remembered an anecdote that Magdalena Neuner told him about the young Dahlmeier in the biathlon podcast “Extrarunde”.

Laura Dahlmeier and her drive: Neuner's anecdote speaks volumes
“Laura Dahlmeier came to us for training.
Then we played football in the hall - she was five or eight years younger than everyone else - and she was jumping around everyone.
Completely disrespectful, she was fully on the attack,” quotes Dexne Neuner and concludes: “And it was already clear
(Neuner, editor’s note)
that she has ambition, she has something special that others don’t have.”
That's how it ended up being - like her predecessor Neuner, Dahlmeier showed that she was capable of extraordinary things.
The careers of the two are similar: both rose to the top of the world at a young age, made a name for themselves early on, won all the important titles and then ended their careers at the age of 25.
Laura Dahlmeier before the Biathlon World Cup: “The climatic conditions are difficult”
Laura Dahlmeier reacted to the story on Instagram and asked Neuner with a wink: “Was that really like that?” There was initially no answer from Neuner, at least not publicly.
Recently, however, she spoke about a dark phase in her life.

There are a lot of spectators who are close, it will be a mega atmosphere, that can also be inspiring."
