After winning with France in the mixed relay at the opening of the Worlds, in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic), Julia Simon will confirm her status as reigning world champion in the pursuit this Sunday, February 11.

However, one of the best biathletes in the world experienced a long period of doubt, marked by an extra-sporting affair.

Accused of having made purchases on the Internet with the bank card of her teammate in the French team Justine Braisaz-Bouchet and that of another member of the Blues staff, Julia Simon, 27, once launched her season alone, far from the France group.
