“It’s over for us, we want to move out of the Park.”
It is with these words that PSG leader Nasser Al-Khelaïfi announced his desire to leave the legendary PSG stadium on Thursday February 8 on the sidelines of the UEFA Congress.
In the midst of a skirmish with the Paris town hall, this declaration by the Qatari president provoked the anger of the CUP (Collectif Ultra Paris).
The latter, in a tweet published on February 9, denounces the potential departure of the Parisian club from its historic lair.
“Our position, PSG is the Parc des Princes and the Parc des Princes is PSG.”

The collective, considered the main group of PSG supporters, also attacked Anne Hidalgo, the mayor of Paris, who in their eyes would be responsible for this desire to leave the presidency of the capital club.
On February 6, the Paris Council reaffirmed, by a majority, the town hall's intention not to cede the Paris Saint-Germain grounds, proclaiming "the belonging of the Parc des Princes to the heritage of the City" and refusing once again the sale of the stadium to PSG.
“But let's not accept that our club and its stadium are sacrificed so that Ms. Hidalgo can keep control of the Paris Council” protest the members of the CUP.
The wish of the majority of Paris Saint-Germain supporter groups of which the CUP is a part would be to preserve and expand the reception capacity of the Park: “On the other hand, what we know is that a real project of Parc des Princes with 60,000 seats, respecting the soul of the club is in the cards.
We know it and we will fight for it.”
A statement in the form of support for the club.
“We also know that the investment in the new training center demonstrates that the shareholder intends to be there for a long time.
We invite all stakeholders to take the subject seriously, and we will endeavor to remind people of its importance through our next actions!
