James Rodriguez's gradual decline continues in Brazil.
The ex-Bayern star is leaving FC São Paulo after just six months.
São Paulo – James Rodriguez is becoming more and more of a wandering bird.
The former FC Bayern midfield star is turning his back on the Brazilian top club FC São Paulo after just six months.
One reason for ending the collaboration could be the Colombian's physical condition.
Ex-Bayern star James Rodriguez fails after an interlude in Brazil
Many Bayern fans should still remember.
James Rodriguez came to Munich from Real Madrid on loan for two years in 2017 and was considered a great source of hope.
His performance at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil will never be forgotten, when the Colombian scored the goal of the tournament with his volley after receiving it with his chest and was named top scorer with a total of six goals.
The now 32-year-old then moved from Monaco to Real Madrid for a fee of 75 million euros, where his promising career was to stall for the first time.
At FC Bayern, Rodriguez found his old strength again and scored 15 goals and provided 20 assists in 67 games - a strong rate.
However, a long-term commitment may not work out for a variety of reasons.
As a result, the former Bayern favorite completely fell apart, even embarrassed himself in football's no-man's land and was even scared when he wasn't allowed to shower naked.

Because of being overweight?
Ex-Bayern star leaves the Brazilian club after just six months
So now the end in Brazil.
After just 14 games, one goal and three assists, Rodriguez is leaving São Paulo FC at his own request.
The former top star with the strong left foot no longer played a role for the reigning cup winners, officially for reasons of “load control”.
In the Brazilian media this is considered a synonym for being overweight.
However, the professional looks extremely fit in training pictures, which causes confusion about possible overweight.
Rodriguez, who apparently wants to be near his family again, has not played a single minute this year and has not been registered for the Campeonato Paulista state championship.
The noble technician was also missing from the Supercopa success against Palmeiras, as ex-Bayern star Rafinha celebrated the next title in tears shortly before the end of his career.
“Nobody is bigger than São Paulo,” Rui Costa, department head at Sao Paulo FC, had already emphasized in advance and expressed criticism.

James Rodriguez on an odyssey – several changes after saying goodbye to FC Bayern
São Paulo was the Colombian's fourth stop after leaving Munich.
Afterwards we went on an odyssey in ever shorter intervals via Everton FC, Al-Rayyan SC in Qatar, Olympiacos Piraeus and on to São Paulo.
Rodriguez had only been hired there for two years on July 26th last year through ex-Munich player Rafinha, who would like to end his career in the FC Bayern jersey.
