The French Fencing Federation announced this Friday morning in a press release the provisional suspension of Ysaora Thibus (32), one of the contenders for the title at the Paris Games.

“adverse analytical finding”

“her total incomprehension, her immense surprise and her dismay”
in the face of this situation.

The French Fencing Federation concluded its press release by bringing a “thought” to Ysaora Thibus, “
who is experiencing a difficult moment in her life as a woman and an athlete.
