Didier Deschamps and his players will host Italy for their first Nations League meeting.
This Friday, UEFA unveiled the complete schedule for the group stages of the competition.
The French – members of group 2 along with the Transalpins, Belgium and Israel – will begin the competition on September 6 and will play their last match on November 17.
For this 2024 edition, the quarter-finals have been introduced.
The first two in each group of League A, that of France, qualify.
The first meeting of the Blues will immediately be of capital importance, since they will face Italy (September 6) then Belgium (September 9).

The French team won the Nations League in 2021 by beating the Red Devils in the semi-final, then Spain in the final.
At the time, the duo formed by Kylian Mbappé and Karim Benzema carried the French attack.
But during the last edition of the competition, in 2023, the Blues were eliminated in the group stage.
They finished third in their group behind Croatia and Denmark.
The question of matches against Israel also arises.
On October 10, the French will move to the Middle East.
On November 14, it is the Israelis who will come to France.
The stadiums in which these matches will be played are not yet known and will be chosen with caution, due to the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
