PSG continues its quiet run at the top of the French Handball Championship.
Authors of a perfect season so far, the Parisian club scored a sixteenth victory in as many championship matches, this Friday evening at Coubertin against Chartres (44-30).
The Reds and Blues left very little room for doubt, immediately taking a 5-goal lead on the scoreboard against 11th-placed Liqui Moly Starligue.
At the break, thanks in particular to a fiery and very efficient Jacob Holm (9 goals, 10 shots), Paris was… 14 goals ahead of its opponent (27-13).
Even the Parisian goalkeeper, Jannick Green, scored his goal in the first act.
Like its Danish rear, PSG was extremely efficient, with 91% shooting success (44/48).
In the second half, we were able to see the three Parisian European champions, the brothers Luka and Nikola Karabatic and Elohim Prandi, stand out.
The eldest of the two brothers, 39, even took the opportunity to score his 500th league goal with PSG, who is playing his ninth season in the capital.

With this 16th victory in the championship, PSG maintains a nice five-point lead over Nantes, the short winner of Dunkirk this Friday evening (23-29).
Before facing Saran, in eight days, the Parisians will have a meeting in the Champions League to negotiate this Wednesday, at 6:45 p.m. against the Macedonians of Eurofarm Pelister, a few hours before the footballers face Real Sociedad.
