After a month dedicated to the Euro, the Starligue is back on track and PSG is still undefeated and well on its way to winning its 11th championship title.

After the Coupe de France and a qualification in the semi-final - the draw for which will take place this February 9 in the evening - against Nîmes (30-22), it is the Starligue, the French handball championship, which resumes this weekend after the start of the year dedicated to the Euro.

Between now and the end of February, PSG will play two matches that will be decisive for its future.

The first will take place on the 22nd against the Poles of Kielce, finalists of the last edition, for a place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Three days later, the trip to Montpellier will count double in the race for the title of champion of France.

“For the moment, I can't see further than the match against Chartres,” insists Nikola Karabatic, who is taking advantage of his last season in dribs and drabs, day after day and match after match to better savor it.

Before the mountains, a gentle recovery awaits Paris this Friday with the reception of Chartres (8 p.m.) at the Pierre-de-Coubertin stadium.

Still undefeated after 15 games, PSG welcomes a mid-table team who should not cause them too many problems in their progress.

“Our goal is not to finish the season undefeated,” warns Elohim Prandi.

Our goal is to win and win the title of champion of France.

» With 5 points ahead of Nantes and already seven over Montpellier, PSG has a little margin in the standings.

He can look forward to this last part of the season with peace of mind.

The biggest danger is that it is still very long.

The championship approaches the return matches this weekend: there are therefore 15 Starligue matches still to be played.

In the Champions League, PSG still has to overcome 4 obstacles in the group stage.

We could well add two matches in the round of 16 if he does not manage - which is likely - to progress directly to the quarter-finals.

In the event of qualification for the Final Four and final victory, this can still promise a maximum of 10 European duels plus two in the Coupe de France.

In total, there are around thirty matches left to play for this PSG.
