Ski jumping in the live ticker today: Wellinger keeps the German team afloat
With his victory in the rain jumping event in Willingen ,
Andreas Wellinger
has once again proven that he is currently one of the best ski jumpers in the world.
The 28-year-old defied all odds and is currently single-handedly keeping the German team among the world's best.
Things are looking very bleak for the rest of the DSV team.
At the first individual in Willingen , three jumpers
missed
the second round.
It was the
worst team result of the season
, also because Andreas Wellinger made a mistake for once.
In the second singles, Wellinger caused cheers with his victory, but
Karl Geiger
was again frustrated after his early elimination.
