Bayern Munich experienced a 3-0 debacle against Bayer Leverkusen.
On the TV microphone, Thomas Müller finds clear words in the emotion.
Leverkusen – Disgraceful: A word that aptly describes FC Bayern's performance in the top game against Bayer Leverkusen.
Coach Thomas Tuchel's team lost 3-0 to what was probably their biggest competitor for the German championship this season.
The performance seemed erratic for many phases.
The Munich team hardly had a chance to score.
The clear inferiority is also reflected in the grades of the Bayern players in the

individual review.
So the victory at altitude is absolutely deserved.
Leverkusen is five points ahead of the record champions in the table.
A painful defeat that will still be talked about at Germany's largest football club.
After the game, veteran Thomas Müller in particular vented his anger.
He delivered an almost memorable interview on the Sky microphone.

Müller recognized “some symptoms that you also see on the pitch.
And to be honest, I'm pissed off as a result.
First of all, you have to congratulate Bayer Leverkusen.
Absolutely deserved victory, we can keep it short for the analysis.” Sky presenter Patrick Wasserziehr wants to know what symptoms he is referring to.
“What I miss is - and that's why I say it publicly - is that... from us players, that we... in training we show much better approaches because we are courageous, because we play football freely.
And I’m missing – now we can quote Oliver Kahn – some of the balls and this freedom.”

“We have a mentality in our game.
Especially with the ball. When you see Leverkusen, not every move is planned.
When the Grimaldo right winger appears even though he is a left back.
They just gamble, they play football, they look for solutions, one of them offers himself, when he realizes 'oh, the room is closed', then he pulls himself up two meters.
We do that too, but not in the game when the pressure is there.
And I always expect that from our team and from FC Bayern.
The fact that we players are on the pitch... you can feel the pressure, but it has to give you energy.”
Müller vents anger after Bayern's defeat: "Then we play from A to B, from B to C..."
“We started quite well for ten minutes and then we bring... and I don't understand that when things are tough and it's maybe a bad game, bring the ball into the opponent's half more often, play a long ball From me back here, just out of bounds.
Then there's a throw-in, we can deliver, we can have the pressure in the opponent's half.
Then we play from A to B, from B to C and nobody has the freedom to just start playing.”
“Why isn’t there this freedom? Does it have to do with the coach?” Wasserziehr wants to know.
Müller becomes clear again: “You don’t need to shoot anything now.
Always why.
There isn't always a why.
I'm trying to explain what I'm missing in our game.
And if it's there in training and the coach addresses these gaps, then we have to tackle the players and today we weren't there, we lost 3-0, there were enough players on the pitch of international caliber and that's why you need it Don’t go towards the coach.”

When asked what role the changed tactical approach - Tuchel chose the three-man chain - and the abandonment of players like Müller and Kimmich might have played, the 2014 world champion replied: “Without me is not a new tactical approach.
We have a lot of players fit.
The approach of mirroring the Leverkusen system and being more aggressive - as you could see in the first ten minutes - worked quite well.
What I'm talking about are decisions, especially with the ball, and the tactical approach has nothing to do with that.
This also has to do with a certain game intelligence, with a certain independence to make decisions on the pitch, which routes I should take.

We urgently need to improve and that’s what we will do,” said Müller, stomping away from the microphone.
