After the rather frustrating game for him in the loss against Cleveland, Danny Avdia recorded one of his best games of the season and his NBA career tonight (between Thursday and Friday).
The Israeli forward led his team (along with Corey Kispert) in points with 24 and added 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in the respectable 133:129 away loss against Boston, the best team in the league that has only been beaten three times this season in Ulm.
After being fouled in the final quarter against Cleveland, Avdia has received more minutes than any other Washington player (42) and this is the second time this week that he has scored 24 points, just one point short of his career high.
The Israeli scored in excellent percentages (7 of 10 from the field, 3 of 5 from outside the arc) and was a senior partner in the game in which Washington started great, but collapsed in the third quarter in which it was defeated 36:16.

Boston already led 84:100 at the start of the last quarter.
However, a three-pointer by Avdia and his assist to another three-pointer by Kispert reduced the deficit to 11.
Six straight points by Koulibaly cut the lead to 129:22 with 51 seconds left, but Porzingis hit a crucial jumper and Tatum hit from the line.

Tatum also led the winners with 35 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists, with Porzingis adding 34 and 11 rebounds against the former en route to victory and a 12:40 balance.
Kispert, as mentioned, added 24 from the bench for Washington, which suffered its fifth consecutive loss, Bilal Koulibaly recorded a career high of 21, while Jones and Kuzma added 17 for Washington, which fell to a 42:9 record.
In less than 24 hours the Wizards will host the injured Philadelphia who is in negative momentum and with the ability they showed against Boston, Avdia and his friends are definitely capable of returning to win.
