In the summer, central defender Minjae Kim moved from Napoli to FC Bayern Munich.
Previously it was assumed that the transfer fee would be around 50 million, but the South Korean was significantly cheaper.

According to the president of the Italian champions Napoli, Aurelio de Laurentiis, the transfer fee for central defender Minjae Kim was lower than initially expected.
Release clause allows Kim to move to FC Bayern for 42 million euros
Kim was able to leave Napoli due to a release clause in his contract, which did not surprise de Laurentiis after comfortably winning the championship and reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League: “We knew he was leaving in the summer.
It was clear to us.”
Previously it was said that the transfer fee was around 50 million euros.
However, the president denied this at a press conference: “The real amount we received for Kim is 42 million euros and not 57 million euros, as reported by some media.”
Minjae Kim was cheaper for FC Bayern than expected.

Kim immediately became head of defense at FC Bayern
After moving to Bayern, Kim immediately became a regular player.
In the first half of the season he didn't miss a single Bundesliga game and was always in the starting line-up.
The only downside for Bayern was their elimination from South Korea in the Asian Cup at the beginning of this year.
As a result, he missed a total of five Bundesliga games, but could be back in action in the top game against Bayer Leverkusen.
Napoli with a big transfer win for Kim
The Italian champions made a big profit with the South Korean.
Before the 2022/23 season, 18 million euros were transferred to Fenerbahce Istanbul for Kim.
Just a year earlier, he moved to Turkey from Chinese club Beijing Guoan.
