Summary: Roma - Inter 4:2/Sport1
A week after the expensive 0:1 against Juventus, Inter once again stood a great test of character when they made a turnaround and beat Roma tonight (Saturday) 2:4 away.
The Nerazzurri handed the team from the capital their second home loss of the season in the league and they look ready and ripe for the Scudetto after a three-year hiatus.
Francesco Accerbi scored first (17), before Gianluca Mancini (28) and Stephan El Shaarawi (44) converted and made it 1:2 for Roma at halftime.
In the second half, Marcus Thuram equalized from close range after a nice team move (49) and Angelinho scored an own goal that put Inter up 2:3 in the 56th minute.
Daniele de Rossi made changes in an attempt to get at least a point, but Alessandro Bastoni scored in extra time (90+3) and the legendary former player lost for the first time since replacing Jose Mourinho.
It was Inter's fifth league win in a row and ninth in the last 10 games.
She temporarily increased the gap to 7 points, about a week before hosting Salernitana for a head-to-head battle.
Roma missed an opportunity to temporarily enter the top 4.
Finished a nice team move with a ball in the net.
