The TV experts' criticism of Thomas Tuchel never ends.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge finds clear words for the Bayern coach's critics.
Munich – Will it ever stop?
TV experts Lothar Matthäus and Didi Hamann's criticism of FC Bayern, especially Thomas Tuchel, has been going on for several months.
In an interview, Bayern supervisory board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge shoots against the TV experts and sides with his coach.
Tuchel vs. TV experts goes into the next round
Before the top game against Bayer Leverkusen at the weekend, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel had to face criticism from TV experts again.
For Lothar Matthäus there is “still a lot of room for improvement”.
The results were good, “but there is a lack of the attractiveness of football that one can expect from this strong Bayern team, even despite the numerous injury absences.”
In the previous weeks, Tuchel had to face severe criticism from Didi Hamann because he had interpreted his statements at a fan club meeting as flirting with FC Barcelona.
A short time later, Hamann rowed back and apologized to the Bayern coach.
However, he did not want to accept the apology.

Tough Rummenigge saying towards Didi Hamann
The following week, FC Bayern issued a statement saying that they no longer wanted to put up with such comments.
The former Bayern boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge followed the club's words with actions.
In an interview with the
evening newspaper
, he sent a clear signal to Hamann and stood by Tuchel.
“Maybe Julian Nagelsmann's points average wasn't enough, otherwise Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidžić wouldn't have replaced him with Thomas Tuchel.
As far as Didi Hamann is concerned, I think any answer to him only makes the matter unnecessary,” explained the 68-year-old in clear words.
