Arrival of Quinté +
: 7 – 18 – 6 – 15 – 17
“It's a very big crack” these are the first words of Clément Duvaldestin, a few seconds after passing the post in the lead with his champion
Idao de Tillard
(n°7).
Placed as the big favorite of punters, two weeks after his demonstration in the Prix d'Amérique (Gr. I),
Idao de Tillard
confirmed that he was currently the best trotter on the trotting planet.
Picked up at the start of the course, and placed in the second part of the peloton, the son of
Severino
then benefited from a good race, in the car of three.
Launched into the final bend, he left his rivals in place at the entrance to the straight, flying towards an easy success, in a record time of 1′09″4.
“He had a pretty difficult journey in America, and I'm happy to have been able to run hidden today.
The horse didn't make any effort during the course and in the final turn, I quickly understood that my horse was above the fray.
He really knows how to do everything and adapts to all distances.
Today I don't even activate the blinders and he does it easily.
It's a privilege to be at his sulky and I enjoy every day.
