The 2023/24 World Cup in ski jumping continues on Sunday.
Then the second individual competition on the large hill takes place in Lake Placid, USA.

Lake Placid - The ski jumping World Cup circus has begun its two-week journey around the globe.
The first stop is Lake Placid in New York State.
After the two competitions on Saturday, the second individual competition from the large hill will take place there.

It was a little American dream that the German ski jumpers
experienced on the first day of competition in
Lake Placid .
While they clearly missed out on a podium place in the individual competition, they were only two tenths
short of victory
in the super team competition .

Andreas Wellinger
who showed unusual weaknesses both in the individual and in his first two jumps in the team competition.

and secured Germany second place behind Austria and ahead of Norway.
