America can breathe: Taylor Swift will take her place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to attend the Super Bowl on Sunday evening (12:30 a.m. French time).
The famous singer, a true icon in the United States, hosted the NFL season after making public her relationship with Travis Kelce, player of the Kansas City Chiefs, who challenged the San Francisco 49ers in the final of the national championship.
But doubt still loomed over his presence at the global event this Sunday, with the popstar performing in Tokyo on Saturday evening.
American news channels therefore mobilized to follow the journey of Taylor Swift, who jumped on her private jet just after her performance before arriving in Los Angeles on Saturday evening taking advantage of the favorable time difference, according to the local site TMZ.
Taylor Swift just landed her private plane in Los Angeles after flying about 5,500 miles from Japan.
Private planes generate roughly 5-14 times as much pollution per person as commercial flights.

Taylor Swift, a major challenge for the NFL
Her presence at the match represents a major challenge, the singer with 280 million subscribers on Instagram having ignited the economy and the popularity of American football this season, like the AFC Conference final between the Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens, followed by more than 55 million viewers on January 28, an absolute record.
In addition to boosting the NFL's audiences, Taylor Swift also allowed the American league to reach a new demographic, younger and female, via the "Swifties", its community of fans.
Returning home to Beverly Hills after her flight, Time magazine's 2023 personality of the year is now expected to make the short one-hour trip between Los Angeles and Vegas during the day on Sunday.
