The 25th matchday is coming up in the 3rd league and TSV 1860 Munich welcomes FC Ingolstadt to the Bavarian duel.
The Lions were able to gain some breathing room in the relegation battle with the 2-0 win over Rot-Weiss Essen and are confidently going into the game against the Ingolstadt team, who are playing for promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.
“If you go into games undefeated, then you come with a big chest,” reported Julian Guttau after the Essen game.
Since Giannikis took over TSV, the Munich team has been unbeaten and picked up nine points in five games.
“Now we can play a little more freely,” announced Guttau.
“We put a lot of power into the game and took advantage of our chances,” said offensive player Fynn Lakenmacher.
“We have now played two games in a row to zero.
There’s a sense of euphoria when you’re undefeated.”
