In a message on WhatsApp, Pécresse reportedly said
“having been contacted by the president of the club (Nasser Al-Khelaïfi) to assess other sites in Île-de-France”
than the Parc des Princes, where PSG has resided since 1974.

PSG wants to buy the Parc des Princes from Paris town hall, but mayor Anne Hidalgo is fiercely opposed to it.
Al-Khelaïfi has constantly raised the idea of PSG leaving for a brand new stadium.
“It’s over, we want to move from the Parc des Princes
,” thundered the Qatari leader last week.
In his message, Pécresse adds that PSG is looking for
“a 50-hectare site close to road and public transport, capable of accommodating a stadium and hotel infrastructure”

The president of the Ile-de-France region would have invited interested mayors to provide her with a response by March 16.
