Preliminary report from February 11th, 12 p.m.:

Munich – Things are currently going on in terms of sport: TSV 1860 is still unbeaten in the new year.

In the first five games under the direction of Argirios Giannikis, the Lions collected five points and have at least built up some distance.

But the next benchmark awaits today with FC Ingolstadt.

“One of the best squads in the league”: 1860 coach Giannikis warns about Ingolstadt

The Schanzer have now found their way under Michael Köllner.

After a solid 2-0 away win against Saarbrücken, FC Ingolstadt recently beat Dynamo Dresden.

The Lions have a lot of respect for their upcoming opponents.

“They have only lost one of their last eleven games.

For me, Ingolstadt has one of the best squads in the league,” warned Giannikis before the game.

The first leg in September 1860 narrowly lost 2-1 in Ingolstadt.

Nevertheless, the Lions believe they have good chances, as TSV 1860 has been doing excellently under Giannikis so far.

Most recently it was even enough for a confident 2-0 win over Rot-Weiss Essen, who are currently ahead of Ingolstadt in the table.
