The trend continues: Danny Avdia excelled again, Washington lost again.
Tonight (between Monday and Tuesday) Avdia matched his career high and scored 25 points, but the Wizards lost 112:104 in Dallas and dropped to 44:9 as they record their seventh straight loss.
The Mavericks on the other hand with a fifth victory in a row, which placed them in the balance 23:31.

Avdia was again excellent, dominant and efficient, played 34 minutes (in which his plus/minus balance is 1+), and scored with good percentages - 11 of 17 from the field (63.6 percent, including 1 of 3 from three) and added 7 rebounds and 3 assists .
The Israeli equaled his career record, which he set last year away against San Antonio.
However, Avdia disappointed with only 2 of 6 from the free throw and also recorded 5 turnovers, two of them in the last quarter, where Washington again collapsed.

The Wizards already led 82:93 in the fourth quarter with 10:08 minutes remaining, but the guests, Washington, as usual, were unable to maintain the advantage.
This is the tenth time this season that Washington loses a lead of 10 points or more, while on the other hand, Dallas starts to wake up in the last quarter and ends the game with an 11:30 run and in total wins the last quarter 16:34.
Luka Doncic was relatively quiet, and still finished with a triple double of 26 points, 15 assists and 11 rebounds.
Kyrie Irving also scored 26 points, and Dallas wins despite going 9-for-36 from three (25 percent), compared to Washington's 7-for-32 from beyond the arc (21.9 percent).
Daniel Gafford, who played for his former teammates, finished with 16 points and 17 rebounds, plus 5 blocks.

The loss does not detract from Abdia's impressive personal evening, who as mentioned was active again and recorded a third game in a row with 20 or more points (and fourth in five games), as he again aggressively penetrates the paint, scores from half distance and does whatever is required to finish as his team's leading scorer.
Tyus Jones scored 14 points and had a career-high 16 assists, Kyle Kuzma scored 23 points and added 8 rebounds, but Jordan Paul had another very disappointing 3-point night on 1-of-12 from the field.
Washington will look for a rare win in their next game, away in New Orleans (between Wednesday and Thursday).
