There were few doubts to be had but that's it, Manchester United will be able to open a new page in its history.
While the arrival of Ineos as a 25% shareholder in Manchester United was announced by the Mancunian club at the end of December, it was definitively validated this Tuesday by the Premier League.
“Sir Jim Ratcliffe's acquisition of 25% of Manchester United FC and a further investment of $300 million in the club has been approved by the Premier League board, following the owners' test and of administrators (Owners'and Directors'Test - OADT), declines the English league in a press release.
The board of directors agreed to change the club's shareholding structure last week, and the decision has now been officially ratified by an independent monitoring committee.

After years of protest by supporters against the Glazer family, who still own a majority of the club, this change in ownership was to herald the opening of a new era at Manchester United.
Jim Ratcliffe, the English billionaire and president of Ineos, will now be able to seize sporting power among the Red Devils and rebuild the club according to their desires.
If Ratcliffe was already announced as a decision-maker this winter, despite the lack of validation of the deal by the Premier League, and some saw him starting major maneuvers in January, the club was ultimately inactive on the transfer market.
