Arrival of Quinté +
: 2 – 7 – 1 – 14 – 13
The takers of
Guerrier Castelets
(n°2), went through all the emotions during this Tuesday's event at the Paris-Vincennes racecourse.
Taken back at the start of the course, and quickly at the back of the peloton, the son of
Uniclove
, was thrown all the way out in the straight by Matthieu Abrivard, and sprinted remarkably, surely dominating the situation to finish.
Barbara Guenet, her trainer, who had not hidden her confidence in our Monday edition, won her first Quinté, with her only horse under her training: “he's a great horse.
I was a little worried going into the straight because he was still quite far away, but then he sprinted really well.
He's my only resident in training.
He was destined for amateur races, but now he no longer has the winnings, and is boxing in the big leagues with great success.
It gives me a first victory at this level, I'm delighted.

Coming in progress on the climb,
Grez
(n°7) extended his effort well to the end, managing to take second place in front of the leader
Graziela d'El
(n°1), who relaunched well in inside after being overwhelmed shortly after entering the finish line.
Offered at 110/1,
Dante Godiva
(n°14), pleasantly surprised, managing to barely hold onto fourth place ahead of
Frodo S
(n°13), author of a remarkable end to the race in the middle of the track.
