This even brought US President Joe Biden on the scene - who commented on a conspiracy theory.
Las Vegas – She stole the show at what was probably the biggest sporting event in the world: Taylor Swift.
Despite the ongoing tour and appearance in Japan, the pop icon had recently pulled out all the stops to be at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
Luckily, as it turned out.
Because her partner Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, won the prestigious trophy with his team in overtime against the San Francisco 49ers
Swift and Kelce celebrated their happiness on the field after the game.
However, not all fans like the media attention that the world's most famous singer and the sports superstar in the NFL - commercially the largest sports league in the world - are attracting.
This is probably why unusual conspiracy theories about Swift, Kelce and the Super Bowl have been circulating from right-wing circles in recent weeks.
Even US President Joe Biden approached one of them in a humorous way.

Chiefs' Super Bowl victory: US President Biden takes up Taylor Swift conspiracy theory
US President Joe Biden's social media team used the Kansas City Chiefs' victory in the Super Bowl to parody a right-wing conspiracy theory.
After the most important football game of the year was decided on Sunday evening, a photo montage appeared on the Democrat's personal X account (formerly Twitter) showing him smiling against a black background - with eyes from which red lasers shoot.
The montage is a meme that has been circulating on the internet for some time and is known as “Dark Brandon.”
The post said mockingly: “Exactly as we planned.”
Biden's team was referring to a conspiracy theory widespread in right-wing circles that has to do with superstar Taylor Swift, her boyfriend Travis Kelce from the Kansas City Chiefs and the claim that his team's victory was a set-up.
The relationship between the two had recently received a lot of attention, also because the 34-year-old was present at Kelce's team's games and then all eyes were on the couple.

There is no statement on the US election
Not least because of this conspiracy theory, the Super Bowl in the USA had already taken on a highly political dimension in view of the upcoming US election.
Republicans had feared that Swift could use her presence at the Super Bowl to campaign for Biden and his Democrats.
Swift was shown several times on Sunday jumping up and down in the stands, cheering on her boyfriend's triumph, even downing her beer in one gulp and later giving Kelce a kiss on the lawn.
However, she did not make a political statement.

For President Biden, the X contribution clearly fits into a new election campaign strategy.
The 81-year-old had recently lost support among younger voters due to his Middle East course.
Biden is slightly behind Trump in the polls.

recently reported that his team has begun talking to celebrities and influencers about possible support on social media.
Also on Sunday, Biden's campaign team posted a video on TikTok for the first time.
